Ok, let’s start by establishing what we already know…..

 

•  Have a think about what you already know about endangered animals, and consider what you would like to learn about this interesting topic……

 

Have you ever completed a K.W.L? 

If yes, click on the button to the right hand side to start filling yours out, and if not it’s easy, just click on Kirri the Koala below for some simple instructions.

 

 

Ok, now for the next step……on your computer make a folder titled Endangered Animals, and save your KWL under the title “KWL - Endangered Species”.

Now let’s “Think, Pair and Share”.  Join with a partner and create a mindmap. You will need some butcher's paper and some coloured textas.  Try your best to generate as many ideas as possible, as we will be sharing them shortly.  When you have finished, use an iPad to take a photo and upload your picture to your 'Endangered Animals' Folder.

Everyone will now come together to contribute their ideas to a whole class discussion, and we will create a Endangered Species Word Wall. We will keep adding to this as we complete this iQuest

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Throughout our journey we will be participating in a class blog.  If your class does not blog, then your teacher will provide you with a journal.  You will be required to contribute to this weekly, reflecting on your learnings, and, if blogging, comment on a  classmates reflections.
